SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State, scattered in Yangon Region, (Southern and Eastern) Shan and Mon States and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Chin and Kayin States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Monyin and Yangon(Kaba-Aye) (1.13)inches each, Kalewa (0.86)inch, Kawkareik(0.71)inch, Kalay and Tamu (0.67)inch each, Katha (0.55)inch, Paung (0.51)inch, Putao (0.47)inch and Homalin (0.43)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th October, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Magway Region and Northern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Yangon Region, (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States and isolated in remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Southern Shan State.
