SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Kachin and Kayah States, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States and  isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Pinlaung (1.50)inches, Pyinoolwin (0.90)inch, Thandwe (0.79)inch, Zalun (0.51)inch, Pyay and Kawthaung (0.35)inch each, Hlaingbwe (0.24) inch and Lashio (0.20)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and East Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th October, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
