SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Magway Region and Northern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kalay (3.15)inches, Htilin (2.09)inches, Mogaung (0.98)inch, Ramthlo (0.91)inch, Naungcho, Tiddim and Matupi (0.75)inch each, Mogoke (0.71)inch, Moyin (0.67)inch and Hakha (0.59)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South and West Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th October, 2019: Weather will be partly cloudy in Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Northern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
