SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan, Chin and Mon States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway and Bago Regions, Shan (North and South) and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfall in Lower Sagaing Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kanbalu (1.85)inches, Myitkyina (1.42)inches, Tiddim and Myeik (1.26)inches each, Htilin (1.18)inches, Kamamaung (1.14) inches, Dawei (1.10)inches and Launglon (1.02)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th October, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Kachin and Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

 STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuation of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon State.
