BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 – 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Kachin State.  

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 20th July, 2019: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 20th July, 2019: Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (80%).

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 20th July, 2019: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region, scattered in Yangon Region.
