BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 18th June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
