BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL  EVENING OF THE 9th June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in (Southern and Eastern) Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Taninthayi Region and Rakhine and Mon  States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate  seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 -6)feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of advancement of Southwest Monsoon into the Northern Myanmar areas.
