BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be Isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and slight elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (3-4) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Moderate monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
