SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, isolated in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, (Southern and Eastern)Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April normal temperatures in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Bago and Yangon Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (44°C) in Bawlakhae, (43°C) in Pauk and (42°C) each in Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun and Pathein. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Pyinmana (1.65)inches, Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri) (1.57)inches, Myeik (0.28)inch, Laiway and Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) (0.12)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
