SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region, Southern Shan and Mon States, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above March normal temperature in Southern Shan State, (2°C) below March normal temperature in Northern Shan State and (5°C) below March normal temperature in Eastern Shan State and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae, (39°C) each in Magway, Taungdwingyi and Phyu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Mawlamyine (0.28)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State.
