SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March normal temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Shan and Chin States, (4°C) below March normal temperature in Kayin State and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Magway, (41°C) each in Chauk and Minbu, (40°C) each in Mandalay, Meiktila, Kyaukse, Tada U, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Pyay and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Khayan (0.83)inch, Theinzayet (0.59) inch, Yeu (0.35)inch, Mogaung (0.28)inch, Bhamo (0.24)inch, Myitkyina (0.20)inch, Muse and Myintsone (0.16)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State. Degree of certainty is (80%).Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
