SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the North Bay of Bengal and Central Myanmar areas. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Rakhine State, scattered in Upper Sagiang, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, Southern Shan and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (4.29)inches, Maubin (2.95)inches, Paletwa (2.56)inches, Kyeikkhame (2.24) inches, Hainggyigyun (1.81)inches, Monyin (1.77)inches, Mudon (1.57)inches, Naungcho (1.54) inches, Kyaukmae (1.30)inches, Pinlaung and Homalin (1.26)inches each, Mindat and Tharrawady (1.18) inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is feeble over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th September, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (1 - 4) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery conditions in Deltaic areas.
