Bay of Bengal situation

1. Two low pressure area may from over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and one may intensify into a Depression. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain conditions and rainy days

2. Rainfall conditions are expected to be above normal in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, West Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine States, below normal in Kachin State and about normal in in Mandalay, East Bago, Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Shan States. 

3. There may be thunderstorms in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States for 1 to 4 days and in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Southern & Eastern)Shan Stats for 5 to 8 days. 

Day temperature 

4. Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States may experience 1.5 degrees Celsius or more of the average October temperature, while Kayah, Chin, Mon, Shan States may experience about the average October temperature. 

Night temperature 

5. Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Rakhine States may experience 1.5 degrees Celsius or more of the average October temperature, while Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States may experience about the average October temperature.
