BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, (Northern and  Eastern) Shan States, scattered  in Magway Region and  isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan State. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon,  Mandalay,Upper Sagaing ,  Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.  

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 15th October 2026:                           One or  two  rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 100%.
