BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the  Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th October 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in  Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions. Rain or thundershowers will be Widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and Mon, Southern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.  

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw,Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershower in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Shan States. 

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 11th October 2026:        Possibility of isolated light rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 40%.
