DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY AND HYDROLOGY (MYANMAR)

According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over North Andaman Sea and adjoining Mottama, Mon-Taninthayi Coastal has moved North-Northwestwards and further intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 20 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Mawlamyine, 70 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Thongwa and 75 Nautical miles Southeast of Bago, Myanmar. Monsoon is strong to Vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay, Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
