It is likely to move Northwestwards and across West Bengal and adjoining areas of North Odisha and Jharkhand, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal . Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the 15:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Nanyin Stream at Moenyin is observed as about 2 feet below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 1 day.
It is especially alert to the people who settle near the stream banks and low lying areas in Moenyin Township, to take precaution measure and to stay away from the flood-prone areas in time if the water level will rise.
