BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the  Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 30th June 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Magway Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Chin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magawy, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
