BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th June 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah, Northern Shan States, scattered in and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon region and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuations of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
