SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalaly Region and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Saging Region and Mon, Rakhine States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 4.61 inches in Sittwe, 3.82 inches in Paung Byin, 3.30 inches in Belin, 3.15 inches in Homalin, 2.83 inches in Dedaye, 2.80 inches in Einme, 2.72 inches in Kalewa, 2.60 inches in Bogale, 2.50 inches in Paing Kyone and 2.45 inches in Mongyawng.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14thJune 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
