BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay, Westcentral Bay of Bengal and and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9^th March 2026: Rain or thundershowers isolated in  Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon Region and Kayin, Chin, Mon,(Southern and Easthern) Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States.
