SPECIAL FEATURES:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Typhoon “KALMAEGI” over the Sulu Sea has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the West Philippines Sea. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may reach over the South China Sea.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 5th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Kachin,Chin States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine States.
