BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the well marked low pressure area over the Northeast and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and off and along Rakhine coasts has reached over the Northeast Bay and adjoining off and along Northern Rakhine coasts, Myanmar and Bangladesh coasts. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and may reach over coastal area of Bangladesh during next 12 hours. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Typhoon “KALMAEGI” over the Sulu Sea has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the West Philippines Sea. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may reach over the South China Sea.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 5th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States, fairly widespread in  Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Kachin,Chin States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine States.
