BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical Depression over The Philippine Sea yesterday which moved North-Northwestwards and is moving crossed Philippines east islands. It is likely to moved North-Northwestwards and intensify into a Tropical Storm next during 24 hours.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolted in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Rakhine, Shan States, fairly widespread in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing  Magway Region and Chin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
