BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th January 2024:  Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Eastern Shan, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (60%).  Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States.
