22-9-2026:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved Westwards. It is centered at about 460 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Kyaukpyu (Myanmar), 130 Nautical miles East of Visakhapatnam and 90 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Gopalpur, India. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.6(M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (11) miles southeast of Singu), latitude 22.41°N, longitude 96.09°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (27) miles north of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (12)hr (35)min (58)sec M.S.T on 22nd September, 2026.
