According to the observations at (03:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West wards and and intensified into a Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR).It is centered at about (170) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Cuddalore, about (175) Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry and about (205) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) is coded yellow stage.
