Severe Cyclonic Storm “DANA” Condition
According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “DANA” over Northwest Bay has moved North-Northwestwards. The band of storm is crossing near North Odisha and West Bengal Coasts between Puri and Sagar Island close to Dhamara(India). It is likely to continue crossing the interior of Odisha this morning.

Due to the Severe Cyclonic Storm “DANA”, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scatter to fairly widespresd in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls and strong winds this morning up to next (12)hrs.
Occuationally squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h and wave height will be about (9-12) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
