29-11-2024: BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 665 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengal.

A Strong earthquake of magnitude (6.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Tajikistan), latitude 38.01 °N, longitude 73.45 °E, depth (47) kilometers, about (1552) miles northwest of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (07) hr (07) min (45) sec M.S.T on 23^rd February, 2023.
