SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region. Rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.13) inches in Mingin, (1.73) inches in Nyaung Oo, (1.57) inches in Naungcho, (1.46) inches in Kyauktaw, (1.41) inches in Sittwe, (1.30) inches in Myauk U, (1.26) inches in Maungdaw, (1.22) inches in Manaung, (1.20) inches in Saw and (1.18) inches in Muse.
BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions.
