SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Southern Shan States, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Chin, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (6.22) inches in Gwa, (5.43) inches in Manaung, (4.53) inches in Sittwe, (3.23) inches in Hinthada, (3.02) inches in Okpho, (2.95) inches each in Okkan and Paing Kyone, (2.72) inches in Kungyangon, (2.56) inches in Chaungsone, (2.48) inches in Hpa-an, (2.44) inches in Kyeikkhame and (2.36) inches each in Kyaukpyu and Yangon (Mingladon).

BAY INFERENCEAccording to the observations at (10:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha coast has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified into a deep depression and has crossed to North Odisha Coast (South Chandbali), India. It is forecast to weaken into a land depression during next (24)hrs. Monsoon is moderate over the  Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan States, fairly widespread in Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas  will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (9– 12) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and about (6-8) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of withdrawal of Southwest monsoon from Northern Myanmar areas.
