SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and (Northern and Southern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Magway Regionand isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Mon States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recordedwere (5.31) inches in Manaung, (5.04) inches in Dawei, (4.17) inches in Central Yangon, (3.50) inches in Saw, (3.43) inches in Theinzayet,(3.27) inches in Pauk, (3.11) inches in Nyaungoo, (2.88) inches each in Ann and Launglon, (2.63) inches in Tharrawady, (2.60) inches in Falam, (2.58) inches in Htilin and (2.48) inches in Thandwe.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin and Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
