BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 05th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Kachin and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls withrough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Moderate monsoon.
