BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong to vigorous elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 06th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, LowerSagaing, Magway Regions and Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, MandalayRegions and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9 -12)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (5-7)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
