SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Ragions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago Region and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.27) inches in Shwekyin, (3.19) inches in Taungoo(Avia-Met), (3.08) inches in Sittwe, (2.28) inches in Madauk, (2.21) inches in Thazi, (2.00) inches in Thandwe, (1.97) inches in Myawaddy,(1.89) inches in Tiddim, (1.77) inches each in Homalin and Tatkon, (1.50) inches in Kyaukpyu and (1.42) inches in Kamamaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw,Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States.
