BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh-South Odisha coasts still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 29th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw and Magway Region, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Ragions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 – 8) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
