BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over coastal Odisha and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 18th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Seas will be moderate in Myanmarwaters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Weak to moderate monsoon.
