SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Magway Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfallsin Upper Sagaing Region and Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (6.06) inches each in Hkamti, Homalin and Belin, (5.99) inches in Kanbalu, (4.37) inches in Zaungtu, (4.09) inches each in Thabeikkyin and Kamamaung, (3.85) inches in Thaton, (3.03) inches inThipaw, (2.63) inches in Putao, (2.55) inches each in Paletwa and Shwegone, (2.48) inches each in Naungcho and Launglon, (2.44) inches in Khayan and (2.36) inches in Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
