SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy inEastern Shan and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Southern Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.65) inches in Myitkyina, (1.81) inches in Myauk U, (1.77) inches in Mudon, (1.48) inches in Hlaingbwe, (1.22) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (1.15) inches in Dawei, (1.10) inches each in Kungyangon and Launglon, (0.94) inch each in Hpa-an(Agro-Met) and Kyeikkhame and (0.91) inch in Paung.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing,Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmarwaters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
