BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 09th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in  Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
