BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 08th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern, Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
