BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (13:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over NorthwestBay of Bengal now lies over Northwest Bay of Bengal (off north Odisha-West Bengal coasts) still persists.Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24thJuly, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Chin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
