SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Bago, Ayeyarwaddy Regions and Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.39) inches in Homalin, (2.48) inches in Patheingyi (Agro), (2.44) inches in Katha, (2.24) inches in Mandalay(Aungmyaytharsan), (2.17) inches in Mandalay(Chanayetharsan), (2.05) inches in Mogaung, (1.93) inches in Maungdaw, (1.73) inches in Paletwa, (1.50) inches in Muse and (1.45) inches each in Putao and Yangan(Kaba-Aye).

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18^th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
