SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay Region and Chin State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Sagaing, Magway and Bago Regions, Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States, scattered in Yangon Region and Kachin State and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Magway Region and Mon State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Chaungsone (5.67) inches, Kyeikmayaw (2.67) inches, Hpa-an (Agro) (1.93) inches, Gangaw (1.73) inches and Hlaingbwe (1.14) inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East Central Bay and weather is partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th June, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Kayah States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar water.
