BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh-South Odisha coasts.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 17th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Magway Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls withrough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
